Serhiy Slychko
A native of Mukachevo, a town in Transcarpathia. Received a law degree at the Dnipropetrovsk Academy of the Customs Service of Ukraine.
During his study at the Academy, Serhiy met his future wife, with whom he moved to Donetsk to get a job after graduating.
In 2014, Serhiy and his family were forced to leave Donetsk for Dnipro due to the start of hostilities and the occupation of the region.
Serhiy has almost 20 years of management experience at various levels of civil service, during which he obtained the special rank of adviser of the customs service of the 1st rank.
In 2020, he successfully passed the qualification exam for the right to practice law, and received a lawyer’s certificate.
Serhiy Slychko is a founder and head of the “Nova Peremoha” (A New Victory) NGO.
About the "Nova Peremoha" NGO
“Today, in these tough times, it is hard to stand aside. I want to contribute to making our state stronger. I have decided that I will provide legal and other assistance to displaced persons, military personnel and citizens affected by the war. This problem is personal to me. Since 2014, I know how war can interrupt your life, and even force you to build a new life. Today, it is happening again. There are millions of interrupted lives now. They need help. That’s why I created the “Nova Peremoha” NGO. Our mission is to provide support to as many Ukrainians as possible.
The “Nova Peremoha” NGO was created with the goal of providing assistance to Ukrainians who suffered from the war.
The aim of the organization is to provide consulting, legal and volunteer support for various categories of people.
The organization plans to create, through voluntary contributions, a network of consultation offices and a hotline, where citizens will be able to receive legal support on a wide range of issues related to damage from military aggression.
