Grants for veterans: how to get funds to support your own business

The head of the “Nova Peremoha” NGO Serhiy Slychko outlined the program of micro-grants, which are designed to support small businesses of veterans and their family members, as well as how to participate in it.

“There are many veterans who have started successful businesses after returning from Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation. It’s great when veterans can become an active part of society, engaging in business, among other things. There will be many more veterans after this full-scale war, and everything must be done to help all willing veterans to open their own business. That’s why projects like this appear. The founder of this particular program is the Ukrainian Veterans Fund,” said Serhiy Slychko.

A micro-grant is provided to reimburse the purchase of goods or equipment for running one’s own business. For example, it can be equipment or goods for a shop, cafe, workshop, etc. The program is designed for 500 participants. The maximum amount of reimbursement is 20,000 hryvnias per application.
